Makita HR1840/2 18mm 2-Mode SDS+ Rotary Hammer 240V is a powerful and versatile drill that is ideal for a wide range of drilling and chiseling tasks. It has a 470W motor that delivers up to 2,100rpm and 4,800bpm, and 1.4 joules of impact energy for fast drilling in concrete and other hard materials. It has two modes of operation: rotary only and rotary hammer. Rotary only mode is ideal for drilling in wood and metal, while rotary hammer mode is ideal for drilling in concrete and masonry. It is equipped with a number of safety features, including a torque limiter that automatically disengages the clutch if the bit hits against any reinforcements or jams. The tool also has a soft grip handle for comfort and control.
