The Trend T8EK 240V 2200W 1/2in Dual-Mode Plunge Router is an essential tool for completing deep cutting applications. It is perfectly suited for timber profiling, worktop joints, and lock jigs. It features a Precision Centring System to deliver flawless concentricity between the cutter and guide bush. In addition, its Constant Speed Control automatically adjusts as it monitors the spindle RPM to maintain a cut that is both smooth and consistent. The height can be changed quickly and easily with the height adjuster, while the 11-level Variable Speed Control provides maximum control for a huge variety of applications, cutters and materials. The router has an extra-wide 75mm Base Aperture to allow over-size cutters to be used, and a Vertical Extraction Spout to prevent snagging. The Rotating Turret has seven positions, featuring pre-set plunge depth limits that facilitate repetitive batch and steeped cutting.
